Illusion Screen Printing
Full Branding Design - Print and Web Development
The Design:

Based in the Charlotte area, Illusion specializes in screen printing, embroidery, and custom design services. This was a from-the-ground-up branding project for a new small business and I was able to start from nothing. The goal was to accomplish a modern aesthetic that was both versatile and attention grabbing.

This screen printing business is a three-way partnership so it was important for me to convey that in the logo. That, paired with the name, practically begged for a fun play on the famous Penrose Triangle.

Zenith:

Zenith is a rounded, modern sans-serif typeface. It was designed to suit many design purposes: logo design, flyers, book covers, titling and many more. Comes in regular, regular fill, bold, bold fill, light, light fill

BwSurco:

The Bw Surco Font is an amazing sans serif font family with hand-stroke cues. This font has delicate, adjusted shapes, balanced x-tallness and the differentiation between the Romans and the genuine italics. Among those features, it works as friendly in every matter.

The fonts I chose to use were “Zenith” for headllines and titles while “Bw Surco” was used for all body copy. Both are clean, modern fonts with plenty of character. Both were used in the logo design and paired well with one another.

I created a wide range of business cards, flyers, branded packaging, email blasts and full website development.

I built a simple website showcasing the clean aesthetic of the brand paired with clean photography. The site gave Illusion Screen Printing a “home base” for future marketing efforts to funnel - fostering confidence with potential customers and ultimately drive sales.
